How we write, review and correct.
Owner Leads Direct publishes a lot of content — long-form guides, glossary entries, calculators, blog posts and product pages. Below is the policy that governs how every one of those pages is produced, who reviews it, what we will and will not do with AI, and how to report an error.
Our principles
Source-cited claims
Every quantitative claim — interest rates, factor rates, market sizes, lead-volume numbers, regulatory citations — links to a primary source (court filing, agency release, trade publication or named industry report) or is explicitly labeled as internal Owner Leads Direct data. We do not invent statistics.
Human editorial review
Drafts may be produced with AI assistance, but every published page is reviewed by a human editor on our Editorial & Research team with relevant subject-matter experience in MCA, commercial lending, B2B data or compliance before it goes live. Pages with legal exposure receive a second review from the Compliance & Legal team.
No fake bylines, no fake reviews
We do not publish under invented author names with fabricated credentials. We do not publish customer testimonials, case studies or reviews that we know to be false, paid-for-script or written by anyone other than the named source. Anonymized customer quotes are clearly labeled as such.
Disclosure of commercial intent
Owner Leads Direct sells lead data. Articles, calculators, glossary entries and guides on this site are marketing assets that exist to help customers evaluate our product. We do not pretend to be an independent publication. Where we compare ourselves to competitors, we disclose the comparison as our own analysis.
Corrections within 72 hours
Verified factual errors are corrected within 72 hours of report. The original page is updated in place; a corrections note is added at the bottom of the page describing what changed and when. Corrections logs are retained for 24 months.
AI-assisted content disclosure
We use AI tools to assist with drafting, outlining, summarization and structured-data generation. Final wording, citations and quantitative claims are human-verified before publication. We do not use AI to fabricate sources, generate fake quotes, or impersonate named experts.
Conflict of interest
Editorial team members do not hold equity in competing data providers. Affiliate or partner relationships disclosed on integration pages are explicitly labeled as such. We do not accept paid placements in editorial content.
Updates and freshness
Time-sensitive content (regulatory updates, market data, pricing benchmarks) is reviewed at minimum quarterly. Pages with year-specific titles (e.g., '2026 Guide') are reviewed in Q1 of the named year and either updated or retired with a 301 redirect.
Report a factual error
If you believe something on this site is factually wrong, tell us. We take corrections seriously.

- 04.If the correction is verified, the page is updated within 72 hours and a corrections note is added at the bottom.
