MCA Stacking Leads — Active-MCA Merchants Seeking Additional Capital
Stacking is a polarizing word in MCA. Some funders won't touch a second-position deal; others build their entire book on stack-friendly underwriting and charge premium factor rates to price the risk. If you sit in the second camp, finding merchants who already carry an active MCA and are looking for more capital is the highest-velocity outbound you can run.
MCA stacking leads are the inverse profile of renewal leads. We isolate merchants who have an active first-position MCA (filed inside the last 90–150 days), are showing renewed funding intent (web form re-submit, application activity, or repeat search behavior on funding terms), but have not yet filed a second UCC. They are actively shopping for stack capital and have not chosen a funder yet.
This product is for funders and ISOs explicitly comfortable with stack underwriting. We make no representation that the merchant is creditworthy for stacking — that is the funder's underwriting call. We simply surface merchants whose data signature matches stack-seeking behavior.
What You Get
- Active First-Position UCC Filter: Merchants with a UCC-1 filed 90–150 days ago — past the new-funding honeymoon, inside the stack-shop window.
- Recent Funding-Intent Signal: Cross-referenced against our form-capture network and search-intent partner data — only merchants showing active funding-shop behavior.
- No Second-Position UCC: Excludes merchants who have already stacked — focuses on merchants still in the shopping phase.
- Owner Mobile + Business Profile: Owner name, mobile, EIN, business name, industry, state — sufficient for next-day stack underwriting intake.
- First-Funder Visibility: Where the UCC carries the original funder name, we surface it — useful for funders avoiding specific competitor stacks.
- Risk-Disclosure on Cover Sheet: Every drop carries a clear stack-product disclosure — these are stack-seeker leads, not first-position files.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is stacking legal?
Stacking is legal in most US jurisdictions. Some states regulate disclosure (CA, NY, NJ commercial-financing disclosure laws). Some first-position MCA contracts prohibit stacking contractually, which creates a counterparty risk for the second-position funder. Underwriting and contract review is the buyer's responsibility.
Why exclude merchants with a second UCC already filed?
Because the customer for this product is the funder shopping the merchant before another stack funder closes them. Merchants who already filed a second UCC have already chosen a stack partner.
Are stacking leads more expensive than renewal leads?
Slightly. Stacking leads carry a premium because the intent signal (active shop) is stronger and the conversion-on-funding rate is higher. Premium runs roughly 15–25% over comparable renewal-cohort pricing.
Will the merchant know I'm offering second position?
Required disclosure varies by state. CA SB 1235, NY commercial-financing disclosure, NJ S819, and others mandate APR-equivalent and total-cost disclosure on commercial financing. Buyer is responsible for disclosure compliance in the merchant's state.
Can I get exclusive stacking leads?
Yes — single-buyer exclusive available at roughly 2.5× standard pricing. Stack-window inventory is small, so exclusivity is capped at a defined record count per state per month.
